Lissa, what a beautiful story. I just love the reminder to "FIX YOUR GAZE"....isn't that really what life is all about?! Having our gaze fixed on Him. It's sounds so easy but I know that the eyes of my heart so easily wander. Thanks for the reminder and encouragement to stay focused!

I love the words above...truly nothing is hidden from His sight..my heart cries for all the women who sit silently ... crying with hearts breaking that they would KNOW that there is Someone that hears and who is there and they would let Him hold them today. xo much
Lissa this is what drew me to you, I felt like you understood and you were willing to turn to God to win your fight. Thank you for reminding me of what can happen when we forget to keep our eyes fixed on GOD'S desires. I can tell you that my hubby and I have been having a lot of laughs recently even in the chaos of life, and it really is because I have chosen to be nice when I have wanted to battle it out therapeutic style, he doesn't fall for my "talks" so I had to make him fall for my smiles. :)

What a beautiful message! I am drawn to your blog... and your story. I have spent quite a while looking through your archives. I am a wife and mother who struggles with insecurity. I feel as if I have little in the way of passion and dreams. I am looking forward to God answering my prayer.
